Baby #2's First Photo Shoot

Any guesses on what you think we'll have??? Boy or Girl???
Gabe has been saying he wants a boy. Today he said he wanted a girl, so that he could marry her. We informed him that he could not marry his sister or anyone else that is related to him. He said, "Oh, I didn't know that." He said he still wanted a girl, and he wanted her to be cute like baby Morgan (his friend's sister).
Gabe also requested his own picture on the silky paper, so he could hang it up in his bedroom. The ultrasound tech. printed him his very own copy. He was so careful with it. He wouldn't let Michael touch it until he cleaned his hands. =) That's my boy. =)

Opening Christmas Presents

Gabe had a lot of fun opening up presents this year. I can't wait until he has a little brother or sister on the floor helping him.

Santa...A.K.A. Michael

Gabe wasn't for sure if this was Michael or not. I thought he would pull on the beard to see if it was real, but he didn't. Maybe next year he'll give the beard a pull. =)

Belly Picture For Month One

Baby #2 is on its way!!! Michael, Gabe, and I are looking forward to the baby's arrival! Summer will be extra fun and busy!

Let's see if I actually develop much of a belly this time around. When I was pregnant with Gabe I didn't really get that big. I am actually looking forward to looking pregnant this time.

Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? By Dr. Seuss

This is one of our favorite books to read with Gabe. If you don't have it you should get it, or at least try to get it from the library and read it once. Our favorite part:

"When I was quite young and quite small for my size, I met an old man in the Desert of Drize. And he sang me a song I'll never forget. At least, well, I haven't forgotten it yet. He sat in a terribly prickly place. But he sang with a sunny sweet smile on his face: When you think things are bad, when you feel sour and blue, when you start to get mad... you should do what I do! Just tell yourself, Duckie, you're really quite lucky! Some people are much more... oh, ever so much more... oh, muchly much-much more unlucky than you! Think they work you too hard...? Think of poor Ali Sard! He has to mow grass in his uncle's back yard and it's quick-growing grass and it grows as he mows it. The faster he mows it, the faster he grows it. And all that his stingy old uncle will pay for his shoving that mower around in that hay is the piffulous pay of two Dooklas a day. And Ali can't live on such piffulous pay! SO... He has to paint flagpoles on Sundays in Grooz. How lucky you are you don't live in his shoes!"

Funny Things That Gabe Says:

Last night we were sitting at the dinner table with the T.V. off, so we could talk as a family with no interruptions. I love to talk with Gabe because he always says something to make me laugh. I was in motion to take a bite of food off of my spoon, when a little bit of it fell on the table. I looked up to see if Michael and Gabe had noticed, and Gabe just calmly looked at me and said, "It's O.K. momma, the table can clean itself." Than a little bit later he was drinking his water, looked over at Michael, and said his "water holder" wasn't full yet...you mean your bladder? "Yes, my bladder."
