Lego sorting

Well Gabe's room was officially taken over by lego's, so we bought a cart for sorting. Lets just see if he can keep it this way...

Here are some picture's of when we were back in Ohio. I also threw in a picture of Jade wearing a bow in her hair for the first time. She wasn't that thrilled...maybe someday she will like bows in her hair. =)

Jade 9wks

Jade is growing like a weed! Gabe and Jade seem to be getting closer and closer as brother and sister. I love watching them together. Yesterday I overheard Gabe singing to her. He had made his own song up about her and getting shots. He was singing to her about how she would be ok and not to worry. Cracked me up! He tells her everyday that he is her big brother and that he loves her.

20 Week Belly Picture

It's A Girl!

Telling the parents what we were having was lots of fun. We filled 500 eggs with confetti! Only one egg said,"It's A Girl!" Here are some picture's of us filling the eggs.

Funny Story

Yesterday Gabe and I were sitting at the kitchen table working on his Awana's book for church. He had picked out a missionary to pray for and learn about at the church. We had to cut their picture out and paste it in his Awana's book. Before we glued it in, I asked Gabe if he would like to pray for the missionary's. He said yes, but he wanted me to say the prayer. I said O.K. I started praying. When I opened my eyes, I looked around and saw no Gabe. I called out for him while looking under the table. He soon yelled back to me and said, "I'm up the stairs playing Indiana!" I said, "Gabe I thought you were praying for the missionary's with me!" He said, "Oh!" We both just started laughing.

Michael and Gabe were having a pillow fight with eachother, and they had to take a rest break. Pillow fights seem to be one of their favorite things to do. Daddy is going to get ganged up on when the second baby gets big enough to join in!

We just decided to snap a few pic's. I am 17wks and 5 days in the belly snap shot. I have been feeling the baby move every now and then. I am at the little flutter stage right now.

"Do It Yourself" Projects At Home

Michael has been busy with a few projects around the house. First he made board and baton shutters for the front of our home. We had been wanting to buy board and baton shutters for a while, but they were very pricey! So, Michael decided that he could make them himself. He did a great job, and saved us a lot of money!

The next thing we decided to tackle was the wall of lattice surrounding our air units. Typically the wall is made of the same material that the house is made of...brick, rock, hardiplank, etc. Our builder; however, decided that he would put up lattice. No big deal though...Mr. Fixit to the rescue! We bought all our supplies at our local Lowes store, and off to work Michael went! Another job well done! Great job honey! =)

Valentine's Day 2009

Each year we lay hearts, with picture's of Gabe from different times of the year, on the floor leading from Gabe's bedroom to the bonus room. When he wakes up on Valentine's Day he follows the hearts to a room with a treasure chest of Valentin's Day goodies! We hang hearts from the ceiling to make it look more festive. We have a great time decorating the night before, and we all have fun in the morning! =)
